Elkton, Maryland – The community mourns the sudden loss of Mesiah Lafayette, a cherished young boy who tragically passed away in a hit-and-run accident on Saturday, November 16, 2024, around 8:00 PM.
Mesiah’s family has described the incident as both heartbreaking and senseless, as the accident occurred abruptly, leaving them devastated.
In a heartfelt message shared through a fundraiser organized by Shay Blake, the family expressed their grief and determination to give Mesiah a meaningful farewell while awaiting justice for this tragedy.
The Elkton MD Police Department continues to investigate the incident and is working diligently to find those responsible.
